Trigger Point Injections

These are minimally invasive injections of pain medication along with a local anesthetic. These are employed to control pain resulting from muscle spasm and soft tissue inflammation. The muscle spasms can be the result of contusion, whiplash, sprain or strain. The trigger point injections do not treat the underlying causes but can alleviate the pain temporarily for days to weeks at a time. These injections are meant to help patients move better and achieve rehab goals sooner, while enjoying less pain.
